The IC555 part 3

In the last two posts we have seen the theory to connect the 555 as a timer, let's see how this is really mounting.

As we saw earlier, for 5 [s] we use a capacitor of 100 [mF] and a resistor of 47 [KΩ]. But there is another resistor been used that is not used to calculate the time, for him we will use the value of 1 [KΩ].

Below the schematic of the assembly:

With the exception of the values​​, the only change to the example of the previous post is the third  pin of 555, it goes directly connected to pin 15 of the LCD.
